Introduced under Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 38-2026, it serves as verifiable online proof that a merchant, service provider, or digital business is officially registered with the BIR. ​Key Features & Purpose ​Protecting Sensitive Business Information: Previously, online businesses were expected to upload their full Certificate of Registration (COR / eCOR). The BIR QR Badge was created so merchants can showcase proof of tax registration without publicly revealing sensitive personal or internal details. ​QR Code Verification: The badge contains a embedded QR Code.
